Hello April!
Its not all about the chocolate this month and there are some great events and things going on in the area which are great for friends getting together. Why not let us know if you are looking for such an event and we can let you know what’s happening in the area and what could work for you and your group. We can bolt on accommodation, transport and catering making it a full weekend of fun with your family or friends.
Staffordshire Beer Festival – Friday 15th April to Sunday 17th April @ Uttoxeter Race Course
The Staffordshire Beer festival 2022 is being held at Uttoxeter Racecourse over the Easter weekend. Featuring a wide range of real ales, craft beers, cider and spirits as well as live music and festival food.
Motor Sports Sunday 10th April and Sunday 24th April
Darley Moor Racetrack, based near Ashbourne is hosting a couple of events this month. There is the Round 1 Motor Bike Championship Series races on Sunday 10th April, always a popular event. The Autograss races are one of motor sports best kept secrets. There are 11 NASA classes, differing by type of set up and engine sizes, from standard 1000cc Minis to specifically designed spaceframe single seaters with monster V8 or twin motorbike power. Making this a great spectator sport, and they are racing from Darley Moor on Sunday 24th April.

Pub in the Woods – Fiesta nights 15-16th April
To celebrate these unique venues 1st anniversary, they have some fantastic themed evenings. This is a great venue for groups. Set in a beautiful woodland, hire your own cabana and relax around the open fires. With food, drink and live music on hand you will have a great night.
Vineyards
You may not have thought it possible to visit a Vineyard in Derbyshire, but the English Wine Project is based in the Derwent Valley. This is a UNSECO heritage site and provides a stunning back drop to enjoy Renishaw Wines. You can book on one of the upcoming winery tours (9th and 30th April) or private tours can be arranged. A vineyard tour is a great group activity for any occasion. Don’t forget, we can also arrange the transportation for you as well.
