As Derbyshire and Staffordshires leading outdoor activities specialist, providing superb hen do and stag weekend activities, each month we look at a member of our fantastic team. This month we say ‘hi’ to the man who puts the Knight into Hard Day’s Knight: It’s Director Greg Knight!

Job Description:
“Wearer of many hats! I oversee all group activity bookings to make sure people are getting the best deals for the latest outdoor activities in Derbyshire and Staffordshire. I also source new group activities and Derbyshire and Staffordshire accommodation for the company.”

What’s a Typical Day in the Life of Greg?
“It depends on what day of the week it is! Monday to Friday I’m usually in the sales office keeping an eye on all enquiries and getting involved in the general day to day running of the business. At the weekend though, I’m out and about at our different outdoor activity centres, meeting our customers and generally joining in the fun”.

What Do You Like About Your Job?
“I get to deal with people who are always happy! People are always excited when arranging their group activities and it’s a pleasure to be part of it. Lets’s face it, arranging peoples hen do and stag parties is a whole lot of fun! Anything I don’t like? Sure, I hardly ever get a day off, but “hey ho” ,it’s my name above the door!”

You Must Experience Some Amusing Scenarios? Please tell:
“I thought I’d seen it all when it comes to fancy dress outfits on stag do’s. But a few weeks back we had a group all dressed as monks (and some with the ACTUAL monk haircuts!). They looked ludicrous during their paintballing activity and god knows what people thought on their night out! This job makes you expect the unexpected”.
