We’re not forgetting the boys, but we’re focusing on hen do weekends again this week. Rebecca Clancey, writing for the Telegraph this week, spoke of the woes of hen weekends; how most girls dread hen weekends, how the girls don’t often know each other or how to get to the location. Not being a fan of the stereotypical hen do, she shook her head at plastic willies, feather boas, and the customary ‘L’ plate.
As witty as the article is, it fails to celebrate the new breed of hen do weekend, such as the Derbyshire hen weekends managed by Hard Days Knight. What a way to bond with fellow hens? Combine your selection of group activities and leave the rest to Hard Days Knight; activity centre bookings, transport, catering and Derbyshire accommodation. Email all hens with a list of activities available (see here), asking them which they prefer, and then book a truly bespoke Derbyshire and Peak District hen do weekend that is sure to thrill all and be remembered fondly for years to come.
Activities include (are you ready?): shooting and combat sports including; clay pigeon shooting, archery, paintball and laser tag. Motor sports including; hovercrafts, quad biking, indoor and outdoor go karting, blitz and rage buggies and more. On the water including; sailing, windsurfing, gorge scrambling, kayaking and canoeing and canal boating. We’ve low exertion activities that include; tarot reading, cookery experience, pamper parties, nude life drawing and activities we refer to as ‘something different’ including; abseiling, tribal drumming, falconry, willow weaving and the superb team challenge.
