The Peak District National Park Authority has announced a permanent exclusion of 4x4s and motorbikes from the Roych, a popular Derbyshire green lane which forms part of the Pennine Bridleway to protect the special qualities of the national park. And quite rightly so we say. The Peak District is just stunning and it really does need protecting. But that doesn’t mean that you can’t tear around it in a 4×4. Oh no!
Across Derbyshire’s Peak District we’ve a number of centres well away from protected areas with maintained tracks especially designed for motor sports. Take for example our Blind Driving Experience; A superb group activity guaranteed to start an argument between driver and passenger. We’ve 4×4 off-roader taster sessions, intermediate, right through to extreme. How about off-roading with a twist? Our Reverse Steer Experience will drive you insane. And to carry on the motorsport theme we’ve also Blitz Buggies, Rage Buggies, Indoor Go Karting, Outdoor Go Karting, Hovercrafts and Quad Biking Taster and Extreme activities. All on specially managed tracks, respecting Derbyshire’s beautiful Peak District.
You can combine any of the above and you can include any of our other superb activities too to make a perfect Derbyshire and Peak District hen do or stag activity weekend. All you have to do is get in touch and we’ll do the Hard Days work!
