The Hall is hidden in the most breathtaking of locations. Nestled between Buxton and Leek, it’s ideally located for groups wanting to get away from it all, yet in the heart of England. The Hall is located through a long driveway through fields and woods under the famous Hen Cloud rocks.
The Hall was once the hunting abode of Sir Philip Brocklehurst. His brother lived in the house and amassed a small zoo on the grounds, including yaks and llamas. They roamed freely before dying out in more recent years. The unique style has been retained whilst adding some great features to make your celebration go with style.

There’s a state-of-the-art Ohm sound system on the ground floor. There’s an input in the living room, dining room, snug, and entrance hallways, and it allows you to play different music in each room, meaning you can have a variation of mini parties! Remember to bring your AUX cable to connect. Please note that because we have these crystal clear Ohm speakers, it is banned to bring additional speakers. Outdoor music/ loud noise is forbidden once it goes dark as there are neighbours nearby.

Hot tubs, karaoke or any external music speakers or bands are not allowed on site.
If you’re looking for a loud party or rave location, this is not the location for you.

Drawing Room
The Hall has a stunning large Drawing Room with stylish leather sofas, so all your guests can chill out in style. The vast windows look out for the fantastic views and a massive fireplace with a wood-burning stove.
For miles and miles, you can see the stunning Peak District. For movie fans, it comes with a 50-inch TV, DVD, and ‘Ohm’ speaker system (bring your aux cable).
There’s a second living room, with views onto the neighbouring hillside. This room also contains a library of books and another feature fireplace, where you will also find a 7-foot pool table.

Dining Room and Kitchen
Like the Drawing room, the Dining Room has fantastic expansive windows to enjoy the views. Furnished with a lovely wooden floor and marble fireplace. Up to 34 guests can dine.

The Hall has a fitted oak door kitchen, granite work surfaces, two large fridges and a large freezer, and everything you could need for your party. It contains an extensive electric range, a double oven, plenty of granite work surfaces, and cupboard space. Facilities include a microwave, washer/dryer, two large fridges and an upright freezer, two dishwashers, six slot toaster, copious crockery, glassware, cutlery, etc. Of course, if you want to save on the washing up, bring in a catering chef and their servers to have an actual Party House meal!

Comfortable living
The Hall has 13 bedrooms (5 doubles, six twins, two quads) and all the beds have superior duvets. Most of the bedrooms have stunning views looking out onto rolling hills in the distance. The main bedroom also has an en-suite and a fabulous bath overlooking the stunning local views.
There are also 11 bath and shower rooms which have all been refurbished. Many of these are en-suite.

Games Room + Xbox Snug
With a room including a pool table, outdoor table tennis, indoor table football, and an Xbox snug to play games in peace.

Special extras
The Hall has a lovely garden with stunning views of the Peak District, absolutely perfect for hosting a BBQ or outdoor get-togethers.

Accessible Rooms
There is a ground-floor bedroom and disabled access wet room equipped with handrails. There are two further ground-floor bedrooms, which are accessed via a couple of steps. NB, there are two steps up to the front door (we can lend you access ramps).
