Charming stable conversion with pool table & tennis court in Ashbourne

This impressive barn conversion offers spacious accommodation for the larger party. Ideal for weekend breaks in Derbyshire. An interconnecting door to the Coach House can be opened to provide accommodation for up to 28 people; the door connects the two sitting rooms, and so when open, a vast communal area is created – ideal for special occasion celebrations (when closed, the access is sound and fireproof).

It boasts a large beamed sitting room with a colour television and DVD and a half-sized snooker table. The beamed kitchen/dining room is fully equipped, with an adjoining utility room housing a washing machine and tumble dryer. All you need for weekend breaks in Derbyshire.

From the kitchen door, you set out onto a private patio area complete with barbecue and patio furniture, offering superb views over the rolling Derbyshire countryside. There is one triple bedroom on the ground floor and a cloakroom with a toilet and wash basin. On the first floor, there are five bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double and a single bed, a cot and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath.

There are two other bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. One is a double (with a single chair bed), and the other is a twin. There are also two bedrooms, one double and one twin, which share a family bathroom with a shower over the bath. In addition to this, there is also a sofa bed and Z bed.

There is shared use of the tennis court, and you will need to bring rackets and balls.

All the fun with no drama

We had such a good stag do with Hard Days Knight in the Peak District, and I honestly can’t recommend them enough! From the start, they organised everything down to a tee, making it a weekend none of us will forget. The accommodation was good, comfortably fitting our group and perfectly located for everything on the itinerary. One of the absolute highlights was the Hunted activity - a mix of orienteering with a twist where you’re actually being chased! It was such a laugh and brought out everyone's competitive side, with a good bit of adrenaline thrown in. A massive thank you to Greg in particular, whose communication was faultless. He kept us updated every step of the way, answered all our questions, and went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. His local knowledge and enthusiasm really added to the experience and made us feel like we were in safe hands. If you're planning a stag do and want a unique, well-organised experience in the Peaks, Hard Days Knight is the way to go. Cheers to Greg and the team for a brilliant weekend - we’re still talking about it!

My brother's stag do was nothing short of amazing. We've had a myriad of activities to choose from in a wonderful location. Sadly, the Best Man, who paid the deposit for the country house we stayed in, had some disputes with the property owner, who withheld the deposit claiming damages (which were previously there). Once Hard Days Knight was informed, Greg immediately stepped in to refund our deposit out of pocket, so that he can help handle and mediate. This immediately shows us that Greg prioritises keeping our Stag Do a happy memory, and it's very much appreciated.

We had an excellent time on our brother’s stag that we organised with Greg. Cannot fault the experience, Greg was extremely helpful and efficient with putting together a great weekend in a fairly short period of time. The accommodation suggested worked out perfectly, especially with the attached pool, hot tub and games room which were an added bonus. The activities lived up to our expectations and again were well organised and timings made the whole weekend work without any issues. Everyone had a lot of fun and I would highly recommend going with HDK for any stag/ hen-do.
