The Derbyshire Farmhouse was built in the 1860s and retains many of the existing features, such as the fireplaces and cornice in the sitting rooms and the impressive staircase. The house overlooks mature gardens with extensive lawns, a large pond to the front and the tennis court to the side (please bring your own rackets and balls). It is a superb property for larger groups and has the benefit of a lower ground floor which houses both a full sized slate snooker table and a games room complete with table tennis table. The ground floor has two large sitting rooms, each with a colour television, and one has a video attached. Both rooms retain many original features and have fireplaces for cosy open fires in the colder months. The large kitchen also provides the dining facilities.
It has a large electric range cooker. On the ground floor is a shower room with shower, toilet and basin and one bedroom with double and single beds. There is also a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, and freezer. The split-level first floor has an additional five bedrooms. The main bedroom has a four-poster bed with a large en-suite bathroom with a bath and a separate shower. A second large double bedroom has an additional single bed and also has an en-suite bathroom. Down the corridor, you will find three more bedrooms, one double and two twins, two of which have hand-wash basins. Also on this level is a family bathroom and a separate shower room. The second floor provides two more bedrooms, one twin and one quad room. There is also a single folding bed. All of the bedrooms have wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. There is an unfenced pond in the grounds.
