How much does a stag party cost?

The cost of a stag party depends on where your group wants to go and what they want to do throughout the weekend. Going abroad is always going to ramp up the cost.

For example, industry experts estimated the average stag party cost £472pp in 2019.

 

However, our Full Monty Package includes accommodation, two premium activities and evening entertainment with a meal, starting at just £272pp.

 

Interestingly, the average cost of a hen party in 2019 was £200pp. Does this mean that the girls tend to be more savvy, or are they more budget conscious with the big day coming up?

Ultimately boys like their entertainment in huge spoonfuls, and I suggest the extra cost is down to activities and perhaps a little more on the drinking!

 

A lot depends on how you define a stag party. Over the years, stag do’s have evolved from a drunken night out to a three-day extravaganza. It’s not uncommon now for groups to go abroad, and you may find that the groom has a long list of demands as to what he is looking for in his ideal stag party.

 

Although having a list of what you want can help plan your perfect stag weekend, you have to think about your group and what they will be happy to pay. We recommend getting the group together and voting on what potential costs people are satisfied with to give you an idea of where to start.

 

For smaller groups, anything below £200pp means you’ll be looking at a one-night stay, especially if you want this to include food and drink. However, there is strength in numbers, and you would be surprised what a group of 15 – 20 people can get for that budget.

 

Ideally, if you’re spending £250 – 350pp, you can bag a two or three-night stay, two decent activities and enough money to cover drinks and food. I’ve been arranging stag do’s for a long time now, and I can assure you that if you book accommodation well in advance, you can get an excellent deal.
